Fashion week: Is it necessary?

                      You’ve probably heard the saying that “fashion is art.” And that is no more a truism than at a fashion show.

                        Fashion shows are not events that designers use to showcase what you’ll be able to buy in stores the very next day.

                       Instead, a fashion show is a chance for a designer to show off a particular aesthetic, a particular mood, a particular feel or point of view. As a result, fashion shows can tend to be more conceptual and focused on a higher level idea.

Is it necessary?

Fashion weeks have never been a beacon of sustainability – either for their environment, or for the well-being of those in the industry who spend months jetting between catwalks in different countries. 

but..but..but...

statistics says something else.

                      how much they agree with the statement "Fashion week is pointless," the biggest group of respondents, 36%, said they "somewhat agree," while an only slightly smaller cohort of 33% said they "somewhat disagree." On top of that, the majority of respondents — about 73% — said they personally enjoy fashion week, even if nearly the same amount said it took too much of their time and resources.

                     What became clear is that, of course, it's not that simple. While, yes, some people believe that fashion week should entirely cease to exist, others see value in specific aspects of it, or see potential in it if the format were to change.

                    But population who might disagree may find the fashion weeks sets huge expectations and applying them in real lives is way more challenging thus ending up disagreeing.

                  Fashion shows are necessary as it opens up for the designers big or small to showcase their art and glamour and staffs who work behind are tremendous.

                  FASHION SHOWS not only gives chances to designers but also opens up new oppurtunities  to make up artists as well .
